Eversource Energy Center at UConn:

The Eversource Energy Center is a research lab dedicated to the development of advanced storm damage modeling technology to ensure the reliable delivery of power throughout Connecticut and New England. The Center, announced Wednesday, October 14, 2015 was made possible through a new research partnership involving UConn and Eversource, New England’s largest energy delivery company. The Center is one of six industry-sponsored centers associated with the Innovation Partnership Building project.



Celebration of Women in Engineering:

Wintry weather failed to dampen spirits at the "Celebration of Women in Engineering," a daylong conference exploring the challenges of women engineering the future held Tuesday, February 18 in conjunction with national Engineers Week.

UConn Breaks Ground on New Science and Engineering Building:

The University of Connecticut held a ceremony to break ground for its new Science and Engineering Building led by the Next Generation UConn movement. Connecticut Governor Dannel P. Malloy and UConn President Susan Herbst spoke at the event.

Horizon Lecture Series: Voting Security:

Connecticut is among the few states that have a comprehensive system of election technology checks and balances in place, due to the partnership between the University of Connecticut's VoTeR Center and the Connecticut Secretary of the State.
